Darlene West has been writing for three decades and has worked as a business reporter, trade journal editor, travel guide author and corporate communications consultant. Her articles about travel and outdoor adventure have appeared in The Globe and Mail, National Geographic Traveler and Runner’s World among other publications. She also writes about rural life, grape growing and food.
Darlene West belongs to the American Society of Journalists and Authors and has been a member of the judging panel for ASJA’s annual writing awards in several magazine and book categories.
She lives on a vineyard in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.
