Darlene’s work has been published in national, regional, and online magazines such as The Morning News. Her articles about southern British Columbia, where she lives, and destinations in the U.S., Mediterranean and Southeast Asia have appeared in the travel pages of The Globe and Mail and other newspapers and magazines. She has written for Canadian Geographic and National Geographic Traveler and is the author of the three Frommer’s travel guides on western Canada.  Her food writing has been featured on the award-winning Leite’s Culinaria and been shortlisted for an International Association of Culinary Professionals Bert Greene award.
